Additional Information

Please join the International Rett Syndrome Foundation on Sunday, September 15th for their 2nd Annual Grand Rapids Strollathon!  You have helped raise over $17,000 in the first year of this event and everyone looks forward to significantly adding to that total this year!

The Strollathon is the signature event of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF). This fun-filled family event, led by local volunteers, raises crucial research dollars and public awareness of Rett syndrome (RTT) in communities across the country. Since 2004, IRSF volunteers and families have helped raise over $6.8 million, and have grown the Strollathon program from four events to a planned 22 events in at least 25 locations this year. The day brings together the children and women living with Rett syndrome, their families and support systems, and the community for a fun day that includes music, food and plenty of children’s activities.

If you are interested in learning more about the Strollathon program and the potential of bringing one to your area, please contact IRSF at (800) 818-7388 or events@rettsyndrome.org.
