As summer officially arrives it's time to enjoy the season.

Adopt Cecil from Crash's Landing and make it a summer to remember!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Cecil.

Cecil was found as a stray in Kalamazoo. An elderly couple took him in, but wasn't able to give him a home.

Crash's Landing took him in and discovered that Cecil was FIV positive.

Crash's Landing also found a pellet lodged in Cecil's right hip, otherwise he was healthy, which makes it hard to figure out how or why he ended up without a home.

Cecil was born in fall of 2008. He loves sunny window sills and afternoon naps.
