But Dean Smith pulled of an amazing proposal that took exactly one whole year to pull off.

So, today I wanted you to see the video I was talking about.

Dean videotaped himself every single day, for 365 days, holding a white board asking his girlfriend Jennifer to marry him, People Magazine reported.

He started it on Jan. 8, 2014.

Jen, of course, had no idea until Jan. 8, 2015. They were on vacation in Aruba with their families when Jen's family presented her with a special video to watch.

She, of course, said: "Yes."
