Dr. Phil, Helps Ted Williams, The Golden Voice, Deal With His New Found Fame

We talked about this story this morning on Take Five & Company on WZZM13. Ted Williams is in the news again today because police were called to a hotel room last night because of a loud, physical argument that ensued between Ted and his daughter.

I am not a big Dr. Phil fan, as he can appear kind of harsh to me at times.  But yesterday Ted Williams, the formerly homeless man, was a guest on the Dr. Phil Show.  Dr. Phil asked some really difficult questions but Ted kept his cool and appeared to answer them honestly.  But, Dr. Phil knows the road ahead he faces... 

Anyone who has ever been forced to deal with someone they love, who is addicted to drugs or alcohol, would have been brought to tears watching yesterday's show.

Dr. Phil warned Ted of pitfalls and temptations Ted will be facing with his new found fame.  Dr. Phil explained, for a person who has been addicted to drugs or is currently addicted to drugs, new found fame like Ted is experiencing, can send you over the edge.  Dr. Phil warned Ted that people will try and set you up to watch you fall.  Addiction causes you to not be the master of your own life.  Part Two airs today...
