Emily stopped by with Dino. Dino is an eight-year-old mixed breed that came to the Humane Society from Little Rock. Dino is a part of the Silver Paws program so his adoption is fee waived. However, he is heartworm positive so there will be a fee for his heartworm treatment ($100) and for his heartworm medication (approximately $65). He has been known to get along with other dogs (however, every situation is different) and they do not have a history on how he is with cats. Dino is a happy fella who has a lot of energy despite his older age.

Today is International Volunteer Day, and the Humane Society of West Michigan has over 300 volunteers. They want to say THANK YOU to all of their volunteers. Because of volunteers at HSWM, we are able to find loving homes for animals across the United States. They couldn't do it without their passion and dedication.

Emily talked about the Kenny Chesney Event tomorrow, December 6. Come celebrate the announcement of Kenny Chesney: Songs For The Saints Tour at Van Andel Arena. Enjoy games, a tailgate, a tiki hut with food and beverages, AND a chance to win tickets and meet-and-greets with Kenny! Donate pet supplies OR monetary funds to Humane Society of West Michigan to be registered to win!
