Pictures are a good way to remember the fun times you had during summer, but it's not enough.

Make it a summer to really remember by adding a new member to your family.

Meet Dexter from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Dexter.

Dexter was born in January of 2003.  He first came to Crash's Landing in January of 2005 after he was found as a stray in Ionia County.

Thanks to Crash's Landing, Dexter found a loving family.  He lived with them for several years, but returned to Crash's Landing when he developed health issues.

Crash's Landing treated Dexter and diagnosed him with Idiopathic Lower Urinary Tract Disease.

Dexter still takes medication for the disease.  The medication is cheap and the love Dexter will show you is priceless.

Can you adopt Dexter?

Can't adopt, but still want to help?
