Detroit Man Arrested for Threatening Social Media Post About Police [Video]
A Detroit man has been arrested after a threatening post he made about police to Facebook, Fox 2 Detroit reports.
The man posted to Facebook calling the person responsible for the Dallas shootings, which resulted in the deaths of five police officers, a "hero".
The post read:
"Definitely a Black Hero. #Dallas Shooter Micah Johnson. Rest in Peace."
Detroit Police Chief James Craig said,
"These individuals that are on social media making threats regarding the suspect -- this violent terror suspect, that's what he is --a hero, that's a problem.The threat on white officers -- because that's the specific threat -- is a threat on all officers."
Police are also searching for another suspect for making threatening posts against police on social media.
