Crue, a 1½-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/mix dog, came calling today.

Crue, or, actually, Cruella, visited with Andy Rent as he talked about her on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.
Trudy Ender, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Cruella into the studios.

However, we prefer to call her Crue. Doesn't that sound gentler? Yes!

The American Staffordshire Terrier is an intelligent, happy, outgoing, stable, and confident dog. Gentle and loving toward people, it is a good-natured, amusing, extremely loyal and affectionate family pet. It is good with children and adults. Almost always obedient, this dog wants nothing more than to please its master. It is an extremely courageous and intelligent guard dog that is very full of life."

Trudy talked about the very successful Paws, Claws and Corks Wine & Food Tasting fund raiser held at DeVos Place in the Steelcase Ballrooms a couple of weeks ago. More than 700 people attended, had a ball, and raised over $130,000 for the Humane Society of West Michigan. A big thank you, West Michigan animal lovers!

You can get all the information on the Humane Society, Cruella, and adopting, by visiting the society's website or call (616) 453-8900.
