The volunteers at Crash's Landing put in long hours to ensure that stray cats have a place to stay and receive care.

You can help.

Welcoming a cat into your home is a simple way to help while enriching your own life.

Adopt McIntyre from Crash's Landing.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting McIntyre.

McIntyre was found on the west side of Grand Rapids. He was thin and hungry. McIntyre was taken in by a woman named Sue. She asked around and looked for ads or signs, but there was no indication of where McIntyre came from. Sue called Crash's Landing and they took him in.

McIntyre took some time to adjust to his new home, but now that he has, he loves running around with all of the other cats at Crash's Landing!

McIntyre was born in spring of 2012. He is a very athletic and muscular cat. He would make a great addition to your family!
