As we head into 2013, consider making a New Year's resolution that will last.

Adopt a cat from Crash's Landing and make 2013 a year of giving back and helping others.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped over 2,500 cats, but there is still work to be done.

Every Friday is Purrrfect Friday on 100.5 The River.  We feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.  This week we're spotlighting Jimbo.

In January 2012, Crash's Landing received a call from Muskegon County Animal Control.  They had taken in a stray, a very sweet and outgoing guy, who tested FIV positive.  It wasn't long, just March 14th, until Crash's Landing took him in.

Crash's Landing adopts many cats who are FIV positive.  Some of the cats they adopt come from hundreds of miles away.

Jimbo is a big boy.  He weighed 18 pounds when he first came to Crash's Landing.  Crash's Landing cleaned him up, updated his vaccines, did some dental work, and gave him all of the loving care that they always do.

Jimbo is a fun and loving cat who would make an excellent addition to any family.

Can you adopt Jimbo?

There are other ways to help Crash's Landing and give back to the community.  Consider becoming a volunteer at Crash's Landing.
