Construction on Southbound US-131 Through Grand Rapids

Prepare for slowdowns as MDOT crews close two lanes of traffic for work on southbound 131 through Grand Rapids.

WZZM-13 reports there will be double lane closures on southbound US-131 from Ann Street to 28th Street. The project started this morning and will run through Thursday, June 18.

Crews will work from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

MDOT crews are also closing the exit ramp from eastbound I-196 to westbound 28th Street. The project is scheduled to run into early September.
