Coly the cat came calling today.

Coly visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Trudy Ender, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Coly into the studios.

Coly, who's full name is Colossian, is a 3-month old American shorthair cat, that needs a good, loving home. Coly has been spayed, had all her vaccinations, is micro chipped, and ready to find a new home.

According to the Cat Fanciers Association, if you're looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family? Look no further than the American Shorthair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, sweet personality, and amiability with children, dogs, and other pets.

Trudy mentioned that through the month of August, the Humane Society will continue their cat special. Having an over-population of cats means they need to find homes for as many as they are able. Kittens, such as Coly, will remain $95, but all other cats, five-months and older, will be a "name your own price" opportunity to add a lovable 'furry critter' to your family.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
