Coast Guard Festival kicks off Friday in Grand Haven! This year it is expected to attract thousands of people to the area over the next ten days.

Coast Guard Festival has something for everyone including live music, parades, fireworks, and plenty of food.

The festival kicks off at 10 a.m. Friday with the Lighthouse Quilt Guild, and attendees can also check out Festival Idol at the Waterfront Stadium Friday at 7 p.m.

Saturday will feature a kids parade at 10:30 a.m., along with a hot dog lunch and live music.

The cruise-in car show is happening on Sunday from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and will feature antique, classic, vintage, and muscle cars. Ship tours will also be available July 28 through August 2, and are free of charge.

The fireworks that everyone looks forward to every year will happen on August 2.

The Coast Guard Festival brings more than 350,000 people to Grand Haven every summer.

The festival runs from July 25 to August 3.
