"Anne of Green Gables," currently on stage at Grand Rapids Civic Theater, has extended it's run through next weekend, May 3 and 4.

Penelope Notter, the show's director said the response to this classic story has been incredible, with opening night selling out!

Anne of Green Gables is based on the bestselling 1908 novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery.  It's the story of Anne Shirley, a young orphan  girl mistakenly sent to Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, a middle-aged brother and sister who live on Prince Edward Island and had hoped to adopt a boy to help them.  This is the story of a young girl, who starts life alone, but finds a sense of family and belonging.
