Fasten your seatbelts! Circle Theatre is about to begin an exciting 64th season of top-quality entertainment.Circle has just announced their new season, and it's exciting.

It begins in May, 2016 with the beloved musical CATS, running May 5 through 21. This enchanting musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. CATS is one of the longest-running musicals in both West End and Broadway history.

In June 2016, Circle will present the Robin Hawdon farce PERFECT WEDDING. Running June 2 through 18, this comedy follows the story of a bridegroom who wakes on the morning of his wedding in his bridal suite, with his bride-to-be about to arrive any moment, only to find a strange girl in bed beside him. By the time the bride's parents and half the hotel staff get in on the act, the chaos reaches nuclear proportions!

Taking the stage in July of 2016 is the musical comedy FIRST DATE. When blind date newbie Aaron is set up with serial-dater Casey, a casual drink at a busy New York restaurant turns into a hilarious high-stakes dinner. This hilarious musical with book by Austin Winsberg and music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner runs July 14 through 30.

In August 2016, Circle will present OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS. This warm-hearted comedy by Joe DiPietro, running August 11 through 27, takes the audience on a sentimental journey to Hoboken, New Jersey. At the heart of the plot is a tight-knit Italian-American family.
The fifth and final production of the 2016 Circle season will be ROCK OF AGES. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, ROCK OF AGES running September 8 through 24, tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in Los Angeles to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. This electrifying worldwide hit with book by Chris D’Arienzo, was nominated for 5 TONY awards, and features a raucous 28 eyebrow-scorching rock hits from artists like Whitesnake, Journey, Pat Benatar, and REO Speedwagon.
In addition to the 2016 Main Stage Series, Circle Theatre will present a family production (Magic Circle) in June/July and a Summer Concert Series.

To celebrate Magic Circle’s 50th Anniversary, Circle Theatre will present the family production CHARLOTTE’S WEB. Running June 29 through July 2.

The 2016 Summer Concert Series will showcase the iconic music of Michael Jackson (DON’T STOP ‘TIL YOU GET ENOUGH), Michigan artists like Bob Seger, Kid Rock, Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder & more (MADE IN THE MITTEN), arena rock legends like Journey, Aerosmith, Boston, Chicago & more (ANY WAY YOU WANT IT) and classic and contemporary country music artists like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean & more (NASHVILLE PAST AND PRESENT).
