Chromebooks Recalled Due To Risk Of Fire

Thousands of Chromebooks are being recalled due to a risk of the charger overheating and causing a fire.

The recall effects about 145,000 HP Chromebook 11s.

There have been nine reports of overheating and one report of an injury.

The Chromebooks being recalled were sold at Best Buy stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, bestbuy.com, Google Play at play.google.com, and HP Shopping at shopping.hp.com from October 2013 through November 2013.

Contact Google to get a free replacement charger.
