November 21, 2013 marks the beginning of the second year of an exciting partnership between St. Cecilia Music Center and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center series for 2013 / 2014 begins on November 21, 2013 with co-artistic director and pianist Wu Han performing with the Escher String Quartet.   Together they will perform Taneyev’s Quintet in G minor for Piano, Two Violins, Viola and Cello, Op. 30. Wu Han will also perform Scriabin’s Five Preludes for Piano, Op. 16 and the Escher String Quartet will perform Rachmaninov’s Two Movements for String Quartet and Quartet No. 1 in E minor for Strings, “From my Life” by Smetana.
Tickets for the November 21, 2013 Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center concert are $35 and $40 and student tickets for $10. The concert will be followed by a complementary post-concert reception to meet the artists. St. Cecilia also offers a pre-concert reception for $15 that includes wine and hors d’oeuvres.
