Really! Really? When I read this headline I thought to myself, "Give me a break." Has it really come to this? The "holiday" tree in the Rhode Island Statehouse has been called into question. Apparently the reasoning with lawmakers is this. They are upset with the Governor's decision to call the blue spruce erected in the Statehouse a "holiday tree" instead of a "Christmas tree" and believe the focus should be on feeding the poor. Hey you know what? You can call it a holiday tree, you can call it a Christmas tree AND you can still help the poor.
When asked in last night's interview to give one word to describe her husband she said, "brave, brave." Mark Kelly, was looking at her with admiration in his eyes and said, "That's how I would describe you Gabby, brave, you're brave
Whenever a politician gets caught in a cheating scandal or is accused of cheating or anything remotely associated with cheating the public waits to hear what the wife has to say. She can say with silence or she can say it with words.
I'm starting to wonder if my decision to buy a house, my first by the way, back in 2003 was such a good idea after all:-) Actually I've been working extra hard so I can stay in my house. I do ask myself daily though, when is this all going to end
I saw The View talking about this whole thing yesterday. I agree with Shari Shepherd, my eyes went right to Hillary and Chelsea to watch their reactions. Once I saw Hillary laughing wholeheartedly, I too could laugh at the whole thing. It was sort of a sweet revenge wasn't it?

This video has already gone viral! Touching moment between a father and his son. Watching the son's uncomfortability makes you realize how difficult this must have been for him. He recorded this live video and posted it on the internet. The son's greatest fear is faced, and it boils down to, "Will My Father Still Love Me After I Tell Him That I Am Gay?"
Well, the tribute display closes down tonight. I visited it with a friend yesterday and we were both taken back a bit. When you park and walk toward it it really is quite overwhelming to see 3200 full size flags representing the 3200 people lost in 9/11
Join me this morning at 9am for a special "Faith Hope & Love Songs 9/11 Tribute Show". My guest is 9/11 Survivor Lieutenant General Tom Plewes. The Lieutenant General was at the Pentagon when the 3rd plane crashed into it.
I understand this feeling. Debra Strickland, a 9/11 widow said "His death left an “empty space” that the past 10 years have not filled." That is a real love story! Debra shared that, their marriage, their love, was based on friendship, compatibility, and a shared love of the Army
