TVLand Pulls ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ Episodes From Lineup, Guess Why

Amid continued controversy over the Confederate flag, corporations seem to be racing one another to pull down anything and everything associated with the Civil War symbol. The Dukes of Hazzard even had the image taken off merchandise of the iconic General Lee (which kept the name, for … reasons?), and now TVLand has upped the ante by pulling them Duke boys off their lineup altogether.

Grand Rapids DJs Review ‘The End of the Tour’

The End of the Tour is set for limited release on July 31. The movie has earned great reviews, even Oscar buzz, at Sundance Film Festival and other select screenings.

Some of The End of the Tour was shot in the radio studios and offices of Townsquare Media Grand Rapids, which is home to 100.5 The River97.9 WGRDChannel 95.7Greatest Hits 98.7 WFGR and 1410 AM The Touch.

Amway Family Fireworks Primer

The Amway Family Fireworks are Saturday at Ah-Nab-Awen Park next to Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and the Grand Rapids Public Museum along the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids.

Activities, including music, entertainment, food, family-friendly fun and more, run from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., with the fireworks going off at 10:30 p.m.
