MDOT Reports Bicycling Adds $39.1 Million to Grand Rapids Economy

The Michigan Department of Transportation has released a report which says that bicycling adds $668 million per year to Michigan's economy.

$39.1 million of that is generated within the city limits of Grand Rapids.

Missing 14-Year-Old From Marshall Found Safe In Atlanta

Hannah Marie Amaro, the 14-year-old girl missing since Saturday from Marshall, was located with a 29-year-old man at an Atlanta-area hotel on Tuesday.

The girl was located by authorities at a hotel in Georgia Tuesday afternoon, Marshall Police Chief Jim Schwartz said during a press conference Tuesday evening. She appeared to be fine, according the the Chief, but will be checked out at a hospital.

Restaurant Week was another huge success in Grand Rapids, wrapping up Sunday, with thousand enjoying some fabulous food at over 60 restaurants. I tried several, and I certainly can vouch for some wonderful food.
