This weekend we have Tickets for New Year’s Eve, Motorcycles, Cars & Cash, Hockey, Basketball, Comedy, Dinosaurs, Bodies Revealed, and Cocktails. With so much going on, we may need a longer weekend!
Thursday morning it was announced that Journey will be embardking on a 2020 North American tour withThe Pretenders, and one of those tour stops will be right here in Grand Rapids.
It’s the first weekend of November. Don’t forget to “Fall Back” this Saturday night/Sunday morning as Daylight Saving Time ends on at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 3rd (We “Spring Forward” again on Sunday, March 8th, 2020). It’s also a good time to check those batteries in your smoke detectors. We have lots of comedy, music, holistic healers, nature, a .1K run (that’s about a block!), a cancer benefit for Jay Allen, KIDZ BOP, and a holiday gift show!
The Grand Rapids Griffins play in Grand Rapids this weekend. We also have magic, comedy, music, and Frozen Jr.. There’s the smashing of a 600 pound pumpkin, Corgis in the Park and National Drug Take Back Day. There is also an Ethnic Heritage Festival. Plenty for all this weekend.
Elton John isn't ready to say farewell to Grand Rapids just yet. It was just announced that he'l be bringing his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour back to Van Andel Arena in April.
This weekend there are Halloween themed events for the kids...and the adults. Also, the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ powers up for another concert, there is shopping at Shipshewana On The Road, a new exhibit opens at the Grand Rapids Public Museum, we have a Beer Festival, Tickets for New Year’s Eve, a Zombie 5K and a Marathon!
There are a couple of reasons to wear red this weekend...Pulaski Days and the Red Flannel Festival. It’s also the final Friday for the Food Trucks at Riverside Park. There’s theater, comedy, a chance to run on the runway at the airport, a Donut Fest, small trees and flowers, a Pumpkin Train, and an event for you and the dog.
