ArtPrize has announced ArtPrize Education Days is returning along with a new year-round arts program called ArtPrize Labs. Both will launch at ArtPrize Seven and offer opportunities for children and families to learn more about art.

The Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts (UICA) will present a free screening of The Hunting Ground, a powerful documentary that underscores the widespread problem of campus sexual assault, along with a complementary panel discussion featuring West Michigan community leaders advocating for change, on September 15 at 8:00 pm. Opera Grand Rapids announced today the hiring of Dr. Patrick Coyle as the company’s new Chorus Master, replacing Duane Davis who held the position for 31 years before retiring.
