If you missed my interview with Deidre DeHaan, hear it here...This turned out to be a busy time of year for me.  Last weekend it was the Autism Support of Kent County Walkathon, this Saturday morning I will meet up with all of you at Rosa Parks Circle for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, and this Thursday night I will be hosting ArtFeast3 with Steve Groenink, at the Thousand Oaks Golf Club, in the Grand Oaks Ballroom!  It's all to benefit H.I.S, Health Intervention Services, right here in Grand Rapids.

Opera Grand Rapids presents Puccini's "La Boheme."  It's an opera starring the original bohemians; the poet, the painter, the musician and the philosopher.  La Boheme is a love story with the expected tragic ending.  In it love blossoms on Christmas Eve when sweet Mimi’s candle goes out as she meets Rodolfo.

Broadway Grand Rapids Announces 2012-2012 Season Shows

Broadway Grand Rapids has announced its 2012-13 season line-up of shows. The series includes Blue Man Group, Flashdance, Anything Goes, and Billy Elliot The Musical. They are also planning to bring Beauty And The Beast to Grand Rapids between Christmas and New Years which is an awesome family outing during the holiday season. Cats, which was supposed to be here back in June for the 2011-2012 season has also been rescheduled until October and will be a special event for this season.

Meijer Gardens Announces Spectacular Line-up for Summer Series

This summer will be the busiest and biggest summer concert season ever at the Fredrik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

There will be 25 concerts between June and August, highlighted by one of Grand Rapids’ favorite sons, soul and gospel star Al Green, who will return to his longtime home for his first concert in 12 years.
