Tulip Time in Holland, is one of the top, major festivals in the United State. Maybe, international, since people do come from around the world. It's a fabulous gathering in West Michigan. But it doesn't happen without hundreds of volunteer putting in countless hours making it work.

Something very cool opened in Grand Rapids yesterday.
Adult artists with disabilities will see their art hanging in a professional art gallery called, ACTion Art Gallery and Exhibition located next door to the host organization, Artists Creating Together (ACT) at 1140 Monroe NW Suite 310. What make it even "more cool" is that artists will experience the thrill of marketing and selling their work to the community at large.

Karen Olson, founder of the Family Promise National Network, will be the featured speaker at the first benefit event for Family Promise of Grand Rapids. The benefit dinner is Thursday, April 18, 6:30 p.m., at the University Club in downtown Grand Rapids. The event is open to the public, and tickets are $50 in advance.
