Remembering Where You Were Sept 11, 2001
Each of us have memories of where we were ten years ago today. Andy and I were doing the Tuesday morning radio show on WTRV FM. I remember glancing at the television in the corner and the first shots of one of the World Trade Center towers on fire. Like everyone, we wondered how in the world could a commercial jet strike a building so visible on such a clear September day. There rest, well...you know.
The events of September 11th, 2001 are still firmly etched in the minds of most Americans, even ten years later. Ninety-five-percent of those taking part in a new Harris Poll say they "clearly" remember and 84-percent "very clearly" remember where they were and what they were doing when they first learned about the terrorist attacks against the nation.
