Ahhh, Spring.  It's just around the corner.  And with spring comes the dream of warmer weather and the camping and travel season.

If you really want to get pumped up, all you have to do is visit the Grand Rapids Camper, Travel & RV Show at DeVos Place starting Thursday.  Large trailers, small trailers, fifth-wheels and motorhomes will pack 'em in to see, dream, kick some tires and buy.

It's a four-day show that runs through Feb. 5 and promises something for everyone, from simple and light towables to open-road, live-aboard motorhomes.

Mike Wilberham, the show producer with Showspan, Inc., said “We are sold out. I couldn’t sell another booth if I tried.”

Over 17,000 visited the show last year, and show producers expect that to grow this year.  They're finding families are going RVing, and if money is tight, it's a good way to save some money and have a great vacation.

The show will also have Travelogues and clinics about the RV lifestyle. Howard and Linda Payne are featured, along with John Holod and Jodie Ginter.  Holod is an internationally known cinematographer.

Another cool feature at the show will be antique trailers shown by Ken Faber, a local collector and antique RV restorer.

The hours of the Camper, Travel & RV Show at DeVos Place are Thursday; noon to 9:30pm, Friday and Saturday; 10 am to 9 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 6 pm.

Admission is only $8 adults; $3 children 6-14 years old; 5 and younger free!
