Cabela’s Grand Opening in Grandville is Nearly Here

The excitement has been brewing for months...years, for that matter.  When will a Cabela's open in the Grand Rapids area.

As we all know, Cabela's did decide to come to West Michigan, and picked the Grandville area for their site, but when will you be able to go?

Well, they have finally picked their opening date.

Drum roll please.....!

The Cabela's store in Grandville will officially open its doors at 11:00am on Thursday, March 21st with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to our news partner, WZZM TV13. The grand opening will be part of a weekend-long event with special guests, family activities, and giveaways.

Cabela's has one store in Dundee, Michigan and is opening another in Saginaw in February.

The 88,000-square-foot Grandville store will be located on the east end of the Rivertown Mall retail corridor in a new 380,000-square-foot retail center. Cabela's expects the store to employ approximately 200 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
