One more holiday tradition bites the dust -- Budweiser's famous Clydesdales ad won't air this Christmas season. What? Say it isn't so.

The long-running spot -- in which a camera follows the oversized horses pulling a wagon through the snow -- has aired every December since 1987. But AB Inbev, the owner of the Budweiser brand, is looking to shore up its market share by appealing to a younger demographic. Apparently, anyone over 30 doesn't matter to them anymore.

This year's ad will feature various people looking into the camera and calling out friends' names, with a narrator saying, “If you could grab a Bud with any of your friends these holidays, who would it be?”

Budweiser's market share has been cut nearly in half in the past decade. Yeah, right, and it's the Clydesdale's fault.

If they won't air the commercial, let's take one, last look at those famous horses.
