Bud the dog came calling today.

Bud visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Trudy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Bud  into the studios.

Bud is a 3-year old Beagle Mix, that needs a good, loving home. Bud was an owner surrender, has been neutered, had all his vaccinations, is micro chipped, and ready to find a new home. Bud is a very loving dog, too.

According to the American Kennel Club, Beagles are excellent hunting dogs and loyal companions, they are also happy-go-lucky, funny, and—thanks to their pleading expression—cute. They were bred to hunt in packs, so they enjoy the company of other dogs and of people as well. Beagles love to follow their noses, which can sometimes get them into sticky situations. These dogs are solid, sturdy, and fairly easy to care for, but they do need to run around and let off steam.

Trudy mentioned that their Halloween Spooktacular is Friday, October 23rd. All dogs 1-year and older are only $31 dollars.  Cats and small critters also part of the specials. All cats, not including kittens, are Name Your Own Price from now on.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
