Botox at the Dentist?

Wishing you could have a few less wrinkles or a firmer upper lip in addition to a whiter smile? Good news: Botox and dermal fillers may soon be headed to a dental office near you.
Patti Eddington of the Grand Rapids Press writes that the 2011 Cosmetic Dentistry Survey on industry trends conducted by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry shows many dentists, including some in West Michigan, are adding the appearance-enhancing injections to their repertoires.
“Who better to give a painless injection than a dentist?” asks Dr. Dennis Thornley, of Grand Haven, who has trained in the procedures and plans to began using them soon.
