Bonnie the dog came calling today.

Bonnie visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Nicole, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Bonnie into the studios.

Bonnie is a 3-year old Doberman Pinscher that needs a good, loving home. Bonnie, who was surrendered after her owner died, is full of love and energy. She loves to play and be around people. She would make any home a wonderful addition.

Is Bonnie the right dog for you? The Doberman Pinscher is ready to give prompt alarm (and back up that warning) but is also affectionate, obedient and loyal according to the American Kennel Club. The Doberman is trustworthy with his master's children, friends and company. Doberman Pinschers are not well suited to being kennel dogs or isolated outdoor dogs, nor is it advisable to house two adult males together.

Nicole reminded us of summer camps at the Humane Society, and now is the time to sign your kids up for a super fun summer experience.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
