Saltine the dog came calling today.

Saltine visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Trudy Ender, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Saltine into the studios.

Saltine is a 5-year old Boxer, that needs a good, loving home. Saltine, who was surrendered by her owner, is very calm and full of love. She loves to play and be around people. She would make any home a wonderful addition.

According to the American Kennel Club, one of a Boxer's most notable characteristics is its desire for human affection, especially from children. Boxers are upbeat and playful. Their patience and protective nature have earned them a reputation as a great dog for children.

Trudy reminded us of summer camps at the Humane Society, and now is the time to sign your kids up for a super fun summer experience.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
