Blockbuster vs. Netflix Round 1

Blockbuster is offering free movie rentals to disheartened Netflix customers. The company will give a free 30-day trial to Netflix customers who try one of Blockbuster's DVD by mail plans. Many Netflix customers are enraged after the company increased prices by 60 percent. Gone are the days of unlimited online movie watching and DVD's by mail for about ten-bucks a month. Netflix is now charging about 16-dollars for a similar plan. Blockbuster officials call the Netflix price hikes "shocking" and say they will rescue "upset Netflix customers."
