Queen fans are looking forward to the Nov. 2 release of the long-awaited Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, but West Michigan fans don't have to wait nearly as long to get a major dose of their favorite band in Grand Rapids!

On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Grand Rapids Public Museum will open a brand new show in the Roger B. Chaffee Planetarium called The Queen Light Show: From Mercury with Love!

The show will include ten songs by Queen. It will play at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $4 each if you purchase general admission to the museum, $5 each for planetarium-only tickets and free for members.

Then on Sunday, Sept. 16, 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids will host Queen Extravaganza at 7 p.m. It's Queen's "official" cover band. The band's website says the musicians were "hand picked by Roger Taylor and Brian May."

Between the light show, the cover band and the film coming out this fall; it's a good time to be a Queen fan in West Michigan!
