Autism Support of Kent County (ASK) is holding it's annual WALK FOR AUTISM AWARENESS in just a couple of weeks, Sunday, April 29th.

The walk will be at Kuyper College, 3333 East Beltline, NE, from 12 noon to 3 pm.

April in National Autism Awareness Month, so the walk will not only help to raise awareness, but to raise funds for Music Therapy for students in ASK classes in Kent County, scholarships for summer camp, aid to disadvantaged students for community outings, and support for new ASK classrooms in Kent County.

The event is free and open to the public.  Along with the walk, there will be a free Resource Fair with approximately 50 exhibitors providing information about local services and products.  There will be activities for all ages, live music, a silent auction, and an art gallery featuring the work of local artists living with autism.  And, as if that's not enough, 100.5 The River's very own "Lady of Radio," Kim Carson, will the the MC!

Just in case of rain, the walk and all activities will be in the spacious Boonstra Fitness Center.

Registration is at 12 noon, and the walk begins at 1 pm.
