Jan Berenstain – Co-Creator of The Berenstain Bears Books- Dies at 88

Reading has always been one of my favorite activities. Even when I was a kid. I remember the very first book that I ever read by myself was The Berenstain Bears and the Big Race and I was so excited that I managed to read it all on my own.

So, I'm sad to hear today of the passing of Jan Berenstain, who wrote the Berenstain Bears books along with her husband Stan.

Taylor Swift And Zac Efron Cover Foster The People On ‘Ellen’ [Video]

What do you get when you combine Ellen, Taylor Swift, and Zac Effron? Well, you get some of the best looking people in Hollywood. And a special musical performance.

Taylor and Zac were on Ellen's show to promote their upcoming movie Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, but they got a little side-tracked when Ellen found out that Swift had taught her Zac how to play guitar during production of the movie.

Want Great Footage Of Monkeys At The Zoo? You Don’t Need An App For That [Video]

We've all been to the zoo, and tried and tried to get a great picture or video of the monkeys doing monkey things to no avail.

Here's the thing, the monkeys really aren't all that interested in you. What they ARE interested in are other monkeys. So, a guy had a great idea! Why not make it so that the monkeys can see themselves in the phone? That makes it easy to get pics and video without them realizing what you're doing! The results are awesome and you can check them out after the jump!

Sophia Grace & Rosie To Be Ellen’s Grammy Correspondents [Video]

I have to admit it, I'm a huge fan of Sophia Grace and Rosie, the two little British girls who caught the attention of Ellen with their adorable video of them singing along to Nikki Minaj's "Superbass".

The girls have had a whirlwind of excitement since first being noticed by Ellen, including singing "Superbass" on her show along with Nikki Minaj, meeting Rihanna, and being Ellen's special correspondents for the American Music Awards back in November. The were back this week, to perform a new song, "Turn My Swag On" by Keri Hilson. The best part? They also included a little free-style rap with shout outs to Ellen and Sophia Grace's dad!

It's the time of year for love! Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and that seems to be a time when a lot of couples get engaged.

Of course, in this day and age, it's a toss up between whether the man or woman will propose. Hell, guys have even started wearing "mangagement" rings!

City Of Grand Rapids Urges Residents To Play Board Game

While I'm sure that we'd all like to be a part of the city Planning Committee, it just doesn't work into most people's schedule.

Suzanne Shultz of the Grand Rapids city planning committee has developed a game called "The Quality of LIFE"

City officials are hoping that residents will pick up the game at the city planning department (located at 1120 Monroe Ave. NW), and play it to help them figure out the future of Michigan Ave.
