FARE is trying to start a new tradition this Halloween to ease the minds of both parents and kids. To indicate which homes are safe for trick-or-treaters with food allergies, FARE has started what they're calling the "Teal Pumpkin Project".

NFL Admits That Huge Call Was Blown at the End of the Lions – Seahawks Game

The outcome of Monday night's game between the Detroit Lions and the Seattle Seahawks wasn't preferable for any of us who consider ourselves members of the #OnePride, and it turns out that it could and should have ended differently.

The NFL has admitted that officials completely blew a call at the end of the game that would have led to the Lions getting the ball back and the half-yard line, putting them in position to score and pull ahead of the Seahawks to win the game.

Time Set for Michigan vs. Michigan State Football Game

It's been announced that the University of Michigan vs. Michigan State University football game will be taking place starting at  3:30 p.m. October 17 at The Big House in Ann Arbor.

The game will be carried on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. That decision will be announced next week, and most likely depends on the outcome of the Michigan vs.Northwestern game this weekend. If the Wolverines pull out a win, the game likely will likely be carried on a bigger network since it will involve two teams that are ranked in the top 15.

Man Shot in Grand Rapids Church Parking Lot; Two Suspects Arrested

Grand Rapids Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of St. Isidore Catholic Church on Diamond Street.

The school building associated with the church was locked down briefly, but officials say that there were not children in the building at the time of the shooting.
