Matt Milhouse

I am thrilled to be at 100.5 The River! You can hear me every weekday, from 10:00am – 3:00pm. I have lived in West Michigan my entire life and am a graduate of both West Catholic High School and Grand Valley State University. I love all of the amazing people and festivals that West Michigan has to offer. I am an ArtPrize super fan! I love the Tigers, Lions, and University of Michigan football and basketball, too. Before joining 100.5 The River, I spent time working at radio stations in Kalamazoo, Big Rapids and Grand Rapids. I have been married for over 10 years. My wife and I have three children: a 6-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old boy. When I’m not working, I spend much of my time racing/crashing Matchbox cars and creating various arts & crafts projects with the kids. I’m always talking about what’s going on in and around Grand Rapids, from ArtPrize to all of our other fun family events. Whatever the topic, I always want to hear from YOU! Voice your opinion here on our website and on Facebook too. Thanks for listening!

Lake Effect: Grand Rapids’, West Michigan’s Winter 2014-15 Weather Forecast [Video]

After last winter, many us are approaching this winter with caution.

Today probably didn't help: snow on Halloween?

The National Weather Service's winter weather forecast is out. All we can say is make sure those snow blowers and shovels are ready if you live, work and/or play -- not to mention drive or travel -- between U.S. 131 and the Lake Michigan shore in greater Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
