Opening Day In Detroit: The Unofficial State Holiday
The day in which the Detroit Tigers open their home schedule for the season is always a big deal in Michigan. Many people take the day off of work (or take a half-day off) to either attend the game in person, or watch the game at a local establishment or at home on TV. It has become, as the title of this article suggests, an unofficial state holiday.

Is U-M’s National Title Tainted?
And while half the state of Michigan (or thereabouts) is elated that the Wolverines have finally climbed to the summit of college football. One of many questions remain...
Is It Time To Worry About The Detroit Lions?
We know about the issues on defense. And the relative lack of a pass rush that has plagued the team most of the season. They are currently 15th in the NFL in yards allowed (323.5).
