We at PopCrush present to you another exciting edition of Kelly Clarkson‘s ‘Kelly Covers…’ ! Girl, for real, we can barely keep up. As usual, Clarkson’s covers are frickin’ phenomenal. Is there anything this girl can’t sing?
This is some sad, sad news for Coldplay fans! The band, who has spent a majority of 2012 on the road, decided that they would take it easy next year and take the entire year off! If only we had a job that allowed us to take an entire year off.
Christina Aguilera has a ton to be proud of: She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has multiple Grammy’s, is a judge on ‘The Voice,’ one of TV’s top rated shows, and now, the singer is being honored for all of the philanthropy work she has done.
It was a good day for us in the Twitter universe today (Aug. 24). First, Spencer Pratt of MTV’s ‘The Hills’ followed us on the social media site (we’re dumbfounded and excited at the same time), but even better than that? We found out comedian/TV host/author/etc. Joan Rivers got into it with Rihanna on Twitter. Day = made.
Did you know that China has their own version of ‘The Voice?!’ Yea, we didn’t either. But then this gem of a video featuring hopeful contestant Zheng Hong singing Adele‘s ‘Someone Like You’ fell into our lap and the rest is history.
A week ago, our queen, Britney Spears, released pictures of herself on the set of her new Elizabeth Arden fragrance commercial. In one pic, she was dressed to resemble Cleopatra, and boy did our girl look good. In the second, she went for a more flapper-inspired ensemble, and even her fiance Jason Trawick said she looked like Jean Harlow.
Now that we think about it, everyone was raving about how great Brit looked. But RadarOnline is now reporting that Spears was kind of “out of it” at the shoot; incessantly smoking cigarettes during breaks and appearing “robotic.”
In Madonna‘s latest tour stop in Warsaw, Poland on Aug. 1, the singer aired a “World War II-era” newsreel at the beginning of her set depicting the 1944 anti-Nazi Warsaw Uprising to mark the 68th anniversary of the historic event. The two-and-a-half minute newsreel was ultimately met with thunderous applause.
