Another great year of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids has concluded. Some of this year's artists and entries will be remembered for years to come, just like we remember Adonna Khare's "Elephants" from 2012.

"Elephants" was a pencil on paper drawing on display at GRAM. The drawing was 36 feet long and 8 feet tall. It won the Public Vote in 2012 earning Khare $200,000.

Khare has seen a big growth in popularity since the win. Her Facebook page had 200 followers before the win, today it has over 46,000.

Those fans have had plenty of chances to see Khare and her work in Grand Rapids. Khare released a book, she hosted a drawing class and she is speaking at FAILURE:LAB in Grand Rapids on Friday, October 16.
