ArtPrize Documentary Trailer Is Out [Video]

ArtPrize is months away, but we have plenty of reasons to be excited today!

One of the biggest reasons is the upcoming documentary on ArtPrize 2012.

The trailer is out!

Future dates and funding support were among the announcements made by ArtPrize officials this morning.  ArtPrize 2013 will run September 18 - October 6.  View a complete rundown of this mornings announcements here.

A lot to discuss for fans of ArtPrize and the upcoming ArtPrize documentary is sure to be one of the hottest topics.  The film will debut April 22.

Artprize.org explains the documentary:

ArtPrize will debut a documentary film showing the process behind the 2012 Juried Grand Prize.

“As with all juried prizes, we received some questions as to how the jury came to their decision, and we decided to pull back the curtain through a documentary film,” said Todd Herring, marketing director at ArtPrize.

The currently unnamed documentary will be offered to museums and other non-profits at no cost.

I'm a HUGE fan of ArtPrize.  Never really imagined that we would get an inside look like this.  This documentary sounds very interesting, the trailer is too.
