SKaTE:LAB has drawn attention and votes at ArtPrize 2014. The popular entry combines skateboarding and art.

On Saturday, professional skateboarders Al Partanen and Chet Childress tried SKaTE:LAB for themselves.

Al Partanen and Chet Childress are both professional skateboarders. They are well known in the skating world. Childress is an artist too. Both recently traveled to India to help build the country's first free public skate park. They were also part of a project to build a public skate park in Bolivia.

On October 4, Partanen and Childress visited SKaTE:LAB.

A little footage from the @nikesb session @skatelabgr yesterday. Thanks so much to Chet @chet3000 and Al @parts for taking the time to come out to the middle of nowhere, and #robsissi for making it all happen. Straight up some of the coolest dudes out there. Lots of props coming at you right now. Team riders @mcmantits_ and @whenyougetback are in the clip as well. Support @creaturefiends and @heroinskateboarding because they support a grip of awesome skateboarders.

The video below was taken on September 25. It gives a good look at the combination of video and skateboarding, but does not feature Partanen and Childress.
