Known around the world by her first name, and as the undisputed, reigning "Queen of Soul," Aretha Franklin is coming to Grand Rapids DeVos Performance Hall on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 7:30 PM.

Tickets go on sale this coming Friday, June 10 at 10:00 AM. Ticket prices are $59.50, $79.50, $99.50, and $149.50 and will be available at the DeVos Place® and Van Andel Arena® box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 1-800-745-3000. All prices increase $5 on the day of the show. A purchase limit of 10 tickets will apply to every order and prices are subject to change.

In 2009, Franklin was named the #1 Vocalist of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine, and  has graced music charts for nearly five decades. She began her musical journey in Detroit as a singing child prodigy.

She is a 2005 recipient of a Presidential Medal of Freedom honor (the U.S.A.'s highest civilian honor), presented by President George W.
