A student was robbed Saturday on Aquinas College’s campus, according to police.

It happened shortly after 6 p.m on Saturday.

According to police, the student’s cellphone and backpack were stolen.

The suspect in the robbery is described as a 6-foot-tall black male who was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt at the time with a blue and yellow bandanna.

A K-9 unit was able to track the suspect to Michigan St. and Ball St., but wasn’t able to locate the suspect.

Aquinas College was on lockdown during the investigation. The lockdown was lifted shortly after.

The victim wasn’t hurt.
