A new study finds Weight Watchers is twice as effective as other diet programs. The Medical Journal Lancet published the study revealing Weight Watchers dieters lost twice as much weight as those following standard diet plans from family doctors. The study revealed patients losing more weight and fat mass and cutting more waist measurement than those using other methods. Weight Watchers International funded the study conducted by an independent research team. The team evaluated 772 overweight adults in Australia, Germany and Britain.
