100.5 The River's Andy Rent got a chance to sit down with David McIntyre today to talk about his experience as a wilderness survivor.

McIntyre, a native of Kentwood, was on season two of the History Channel's show Alonea show that centers around ten people being dropped off in various locations on an island to survive on their own in the wilderness.

McIntyre survived for sixty-six days in the wilderness of Canada to win the second season of the show. The third season just wrapped up in February.
