And, the Putting Contest Winner was…..

Congratulation to Glenn Bykbe (Bix-be)! He was the winner of the putting contest we sponsored at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give this past weekend.

I'm sure you know we have been registering people for the past couple of weeks for an opportunity to put for a fabulous prize, That prize was an Electric full sized Golf Cart, a custom set of golf clubs and bag, golf getaway's to Boyne Resorts and Treetops, and a Meijer gift assortment of golf items. Valued at $8,000, this was a pretty special prize.

We chose 30 names from all those who registered, and those 30-people had a putt off at the Grand Taste/Grand Garden area at Blythfield Country Club, Saturday, during the LPGA Classic.

What a contest. It was tense, and the putting was good, but in the end it got down to the final two, Ken and Glenn, with Glenn, although not sinking the final putt, being the closest to the pin, for the WIN!
