WZZM-TV reports the City of Grand Rapids is adding a parade to the city's Fourth of July celebration.

The parade will begin at 5:00pm on the corner of Lyon and Ottawa NW. The parade will continue to Veterans' Memorial Park on Fulton Street, where men and women who have served in the U.S. military will be honored.

Music and entertainment starts at Ah Nab Awen Park on Pearl Street at 6:00pm. Fireworks begin at about 10:30pm.

Ed Kettle, Executive Director of the annual event, announced this morning Amway will be the lead sponsor of the event for the next three years. Other sponsors include Spartan Stores, the Michigan Lottery and AT&T.

Kettle said this morning, "Thanks to the support we have received from Amway, this celebration has secured the funding that in years' past we have struggled to receive."
