Sly Cooper has been at Crash's Landing for less than one year. Please help keep his stay a short one.

Come to Crash's Landing to meet Sly Cooper, today!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Each Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Sly Cooper.

Sly Cooper was one of many cats to first arrive at Crash's Landing in October 2017. He was originally found on the west side of Grand Rapids in June 2017, but it took four months to gain his trust to get him close enough to bring in.

Once Sly Cooper was in the caring hands of one of the many friends of Crash's Landing, he was brought into Crash's Landing where he was treated for fleas, skin inflammation, abrasions and an infection. He also tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus).

Sly Cooper made his new home at Crash's Landing. He was painfully shy, scared of his own shadow and completely unsure of his new indoor surroundings. In the days and weeks to come, Sly became more comfortable and has become a very friendly and affectionate cat! He has experienced a big turnaround in a short period of time. Now, all he needs is a permanent home to call his own.
